We have all had that sad moment where we roam around our fridge hoping for something to magically appear, unfortunately most of these tales end with a microwaved frozen pizza or instant noodles that are tasteless and wouldn’t be considered nutritious by …well … anyone.

But what if you were given the option of eating a delicious homemade meal using nothing but the simplicity of your microwave? Seems unreal right? WRONG!

So go ahead throw those processed foods out, Your unhealthy days are over!

Here are your top 5 Healthy Microwave cooked meals.

1)Quinoa and Veggies

Yes that’s right you can cook quinoa in the microwave and guess what? It takes less time and is less messy!

What you will need:

  • Quinoa
  • Veggies( Carrots ,Zucchini, Broccoli)
  • onions (optional)
  • Water( you can add some chicken broth )
  • 1 Strainer
  • 2 large Bowls(Glass measuring cups work too)
  • Lid (or a plate)

First , Place your quinoa into a strainer and make sure that all the residue is washed off. Once ensured the quinoa is well rinsed, place it into the bowl (or measuring beaker) and add 2 cups of water.Later, put the bowl into the microwave and cover it with the lid and set the timer to 4 minutes. Next,stir your quinoa  and make sure that almost half of the water content is absorbed .Place it back into the microwave for another 2 minutes.When all the quinoa microwaving is done simply set them aside (with the lid)for about 5 to 10 minutes.

While waiting for your quinoa to finish, wash and chop your veggies (including onions) and place them into the second bowl with 2 cups of water and set  them in the microwave for about 10 minutes. Mix everything together and

Season them up, et Voila!

2) Omlette

Nothing Beats a scrumptious omlette in the morning.Making one has never been easier.

What you will need:

  • 2-3 Medium Eggs
  • Chopped Turkey
  • Cheese
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Diced Onions
  • Bowl

Crack and Beat your eggs into a bowl set it for one minute in the microwave .Once The minute is up  add all the  toppings and place it back into the microwave for another minute.

Beep Beep Beep ! Breakfast Served.
